Cool off this summer at our Foundations of Ice Cream Making class with Cara Cara Custards. In this hands-on class, you’ll make a range of frozen favorites including popsicles, ice creams, and fruity sorbets, all perfect for summer gatherings or just beating the heat. You’ll explore the science behind freezing points and texture, learn how to balance sugar, fat, and acidity, and play with flavor combinations using seasonal fruits, herbs, and mix-ins. Madison Colantonio, head chef at Cara Cara Custards, will share techniques and tips to help you master homemade frozen treats. This class is open to all ages and BYOB for adults 21+.
